What is Ethnic Hair Care?

Ethnic Hair Care refers to treating and caring for hair in its natural state, and using the best products recommended by a natural hair care specialist, in order to promote a head full of strong and healthy hair.

We've named this particular section Tender Loving Hair because we want parents to realize the importance of being tender with their baby's scalp, in terms of how we comb, brush, and wash our children's hair. Most importantly, we need to teach our children at a young age to love their hair, which is their God given crown and glory.

Let's Talk Hair

Today, the selection of hair care products displayed on the shelves in most beauty supply stores is overwhelming, making it extremely difficult for moms to choose the right one suited for their baby's hair. For a variety of reasons, many parents have no idea how to properly care for their children's hair.

There are some mothers who present a negative attitude towards their baby's hair by using such terms as "bad hair" or "nappy hair." These particular statements give our children low self esteem, creates a poor self image, and their confidence level is shattered by thoughts of being an ugly duckling.

It's time to change these negative stereotypes that have been around for many years. Let's take a stand and get educated on learning all that we can about ethnic hair care. The more we know the fewer tears we'll see. You'll be rewarded by the smiles on your children's faces when they realize that doing hair becomes less of a hassle. They'll begin to love themselves from HAIR to toes.
