Every child created by God is so beautiful, and our magazine pays tribute to our children's ethnicity, as we discuss the importance of caring for our baby's health and overall development and share parenting stories, as we learn from one another and enter in the wonderful world of being a parent. We provide topics that discuss all aspects of parenting, but remain sensitive to the needs and interests of today's culturally diverse families. Our magazine provides great parenting articles and educational topics for any parent regardless of race.
Mrs. Tingle began to envision the idea of an ethnic baby magazine on the market, one that would be parent friendly, promote diversity, and reach an audience of readers from various multicultural backgrounds. She decided to start an online parenting magazine and after much research Clap Clap Baby was born. She has a true passion and love for this vision that God has given her, and will work diligently in seeing that this magazine presents itself as a positive resource for every family.

Clap Baby is an online quarterly parenting magazine that focuses on the health and development of baby's birth to three. We provide articles on your baby's health, growth, nutrition, development, pediatric advice and much much more. Today's parenting magazines are very educational and resourceful for all first time parents, but unfortunately not every magazine speaks to every family. Every family is so unique, and we are all part of a culture that defines who we are. Our traditions, customs, family values or upbringings are all so different. Clap Clap Baby celebrates diversity within our families and embraces the true one thing we each have in common, and that's Parenting. 
Marjorie Tingle, the founder of Clap Clap Baby magazine realized that after being a new mom and reading several baby magazines, that she needed some information on ethnic hair care, and the best products to use for her baby's hair which is very thick and curly, unfortunately she could not find that information in today's baby magazines. When her best friend's son was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia, she had received some literature from her child's pediatrician but wanted to read more about genetic disorders that affect a large percentage of minority children.
